Pulling a cylinder head or cutting into a duct to "have a look" costs hours before the actual fault is even found. The BS550 inverts that: the probe goes in through an existing port, the articulation thumbwheel steers the tip to the suspicion zone, and the answer appears on the screen in under a minute.
The probe is fully sealed to IP67 — dip it in coolant, wipe it down, keep going. The dimmable LED ring adapts from wide engine-bay cavities to narrow pipe interiors, and captures export as standard image files your service reports can quote directly.
